Fruit Salad Microgreens Blueberries Avocados - E37

In this episode we're making a healthy layered fruit salad in our motor coach in Manitoba Canada. When we sold our dream home to travel the world, we decided to keep our beautiful collection of serving bowls to use in our motor coach at Cherry Hill Living. This salad works well in this hammered silver bowl with orchids designed and made by Michael Aram, a Canadian artisan.
HEALTHY FRUIT SALAD WITH MICROGREENS, BLUEBERRIES & AVOCADOS AND MORE:
Ingredients:
Microgreens
Broccoli Sprouts
Blueberries
Avocados
Pears
Apples
Orange
Banana
Lemon, Lime
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Creamy Goat Cheese
The "9 Amigos" Nut & Seed Mixture
Cut the fruit in bite size pieces. Then layer the fruit in a beautiful serving bowl starting with the blue berries, pears, apples, oranges, banana. Then layer slices of avocado on the top in a circular design. On individual plates, add a bed of microgreens and sprouts. Then add the layered fruit salad on top. Add the nuts and seeds. Then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Add a portion of creamy goat cheese on the top. This is a very nourishing breakfast. Did you know that microgreens and spouts have almost 100 times the nutrients than the mature greens? Be generous with the nuts and seeds. We use 2 heaping tablespoons full on each plate.
